THE ATCOST GROUP : CASE STUDIES

Contract: Moss Plastics, Oxford
Project: 350metre sq tooling store
Timescale: 20 weeks

FAIRCLOTH has completed a tooling store for Moss Plastics.

Protective walls and a roof with a four-hour fire integrity rating have been used to ensure maximum protection for expensive tools to be stored in the building in Kidlington, Oxford.

Vibrocompacted piled foundations were put down and ground improvement carried out before building work began.

The store contains 350 square metres of prefabricated concrete columns and concrete slabs designed to take high loadings from racking.

These were manufactured in house by Faircloth's subsidiary company Atcost.

Atcost's concrete is tough, highly durable and fire and corrosion resistant so is ideal for protecting Moss Plastics' equipment.
